اولاد کی تربیت صالح ہوتو ایک نعمت ہے وگرنہ یہ ایک فتنہ اور وبال بن جاتی ہے ۔ دین وشریعت میں اولاد کی تربیت کے لیے ایک فریضہ کی حیثیت رکھتی ہے ۔ کیونکہ جس طرح والدین کے اولاد پر حقوق ہیں اسی طرح اولاد کےوالدین پر حقوق ہیں اور جیسے اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہمیں والدین کےساتھ نیکی کرنے کا حکم دیا ہے ایسے ہی اس نے ہمیں اولاد کےساتھ احسان کرنے کا بھی حکم دیا ہے۔ ان کے ساتھ احسان اور ان کی بہترین تربیت کرنا دراصل امانت صحیح طریقے سے ادا کرنا ہے اورانکو آزاد چھوڑنا اور ان کے حقوق میں کوتاہی کرنا دھوکہ اور خیانت ہے۔
