آج کل بنیادی حقوق کا بڑا چرچا ہے اور شور ہے اور یہ شور زیادہ تر مغرب کے مادر پدر آزادمعاشرے کے فرزندوں کی طرف سے مچایا جا رہا ہے جو انسان اور حیوان کے درمیان فرق کرنے کے روادار ہیں نہ انھیں مرد اور عورت کے درمیان فطری امتیازات نظر آتے ہیں۔ اسی لیے وہ حیوانوں والے حقوق انسانوں کے لیے تسلیم کرانا اور مردوں کے فرائض عورتوں کو بھی تفویض کرنا چاہتے ہیں، حالانکہ یہ دونوں باتیں فطرت کے خلاف ہیں اور فطرت کے خلاف جنگ کرنے سے دنیا میں کبھی امن اور سکون نہیں ہو سکتا اور بعض لوگ وہ ہیں جو کسی کے بھی بنیادی حقوق کے قائل نہیں۔ ان کے نزدیک حقوق ہیں تو طاقت وروں کے ، کمزوروں کے کوئی حقوق نہیں۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ ایسے لوگ اقتدار و اختیار سے بہر ہ ور ہو کر عوام پر ہر قسم کا جبر و ظلم کرنا جائز سمجھتے ہیں۔ فضیلۃ الشیخ محمد بن صالح العثیمین ؒ نے اس کتابچے میں افراط و تفریط سے دامن بچاتے ہوئے اسلام کی اعتدال پر مبنی تعلیمات کی روشنی میں انسانوں کے وہ بنیادی حقوق واضح کیے ہیں جو دین متین نے تسلیم اور بیان کیے ہیں جن سے مرد اور عورت کے درمیان امتیاز قائم رہتا ہے جو فطرت کے عین مطابق ہے اور انسان اور حیوان کے درمیان فرق بھی قائم رہتا ہے۔ اور یہی وہ نقطہ اعتدال ہے جو امن وسکوں کا ضامن ہے۔ -
